My name is Jordanna Nelson. Officially, as I haven't changed it yet. It should be Mrs Jordanna Nelson-Dean. Although I'm not sure whether to use the Nelson bit. It is my name, my fathers name, so I don't want it to fade. I have 3 brothers, who between them have 3 boys. It's doubtful the name will fade. It's a bloody brilliant name, wouldn't you agree? If I was Jordanna Dean, I'd obviously still be a Nelson. You can't replace this blood, blud.
I love writing. I love rambling. I love the feel of a book. I love that modern technology allows us to share our innermost secrets without having to disclose who we really are.
I'm 30. Almost 31. Married, with one child. A lovely boy who will be 3 in December. I cannot believe he will be 3 very soon. I can't believe I am in charge of a child. If you would have asked me 5 years ago if I wanted children, I probably would have been a little bit sick. Not because I dislike children at all. But back then, I was free, single and doing my own thing. Drunk. Stoned. Wild. Mainly on my own.
I wouldn't change what I have done. I would do it all again, with added extras. I would have gone on a course of some kind to help with my writing skills. I would have flown to a far away destination and travelled back on land. Done something good for charity. And spent more time with my Big Nanny Rene.
But you can't undo what you've done already. I've had a good time. Now it's time for me to bring up my beautiful boy and enjoy our life and do what I love to do. Write and read.
With love and laughter.
