I write for Love Inspired Historicals—cowboys and westerns--which allows me to dig into history and visit old forts, old settlements and museums. I live on a farm/ranch not far from the Rocky Mountains. I have raised 14 children—4 homemade and 10 adopted which proved to be quite an adventure. When the kids were mostly grown, I found another world in writing fiction. I share my life with my husband, a son who lives at home, a paraplegic client, and a talkative African Grey parrot. I enjoy having my kids and grandkids visit. I love traveling but seldom get a chance to do so. My favorite places are Paris, Victoria (British Columbia), Banff (Alberta) and Hawaii.
