Cute story incoming: Something really fun happened today. My small family took a drive into the hills to a remote restaurant for dinner. While we were driving, I decided to tell my four-year-old boy about the ONC story I'm writing. (Which is for kids, of course!) When I got all caught up on where I am in drafting the story, he said, "And then what happened?" So I kept thinking of what could happen next and told him, in detail so it was like a little story telling experience. He kept asking me "And then what happened?" so I kept adding onto the story, coming up with some very creative things for the characters to do. I decided on the end of my story today! =D
And when we were sitting waiting for our food to come at the restaurant, I asked him what I should add to the story and he gave me some legitimately fun and great ideas for my story. Including some witches with spiders and flying monkeys and goblins with magic that makes claws on the prisons, plus sailing home from the adventure and stopping at the Uneven Man's island for some reason I will have to figure out. So now I have to figure out how the heroes can counter the claw prisons and why there is a ship in the goblin forest.
My son said "That's pretty great mom. Does it have pictures?" So I told him about how I am adding pictures to the story on Wattpad. "Oh cool. We're going to buy it right?" he said. >.< Too funny. It is an early reader chapter book for fantasy lovers. If you are intrigued, come check it out. You can read it to your kids!
