Enemies to lovers Rafe fanfic? Yeah… I fear I might actually be doing it, lads !

I’ve posted 2 new chapters of Glory and Gore within 24 hours in honour of our little boat show’s final season!  Honestly, I’m a bit feral about it.
          
          Glory and Gore (and the next book) are going to be one wild ride for Laia and JJ. Buckle up, babes. x

I’m so not ready for Season 5. I think I’m only watching for Rafe at this point. The way they somehow put Rafe in JJ’s place will forever baffle me, honestly.

Hiya, I’ve just finished reading Deep Cuts! 
          
          And here’s my review — kinda spoiler-ish, so you’ve been warned!
          
          The only truly likeable characters here are Zoe and Raj, and I will stand by that.  Our two main characters are both equally flawed and, honestly, very hateable at times. But I kinda dig it.
          
          Percy isn’t a bad person, but she isn’t exactly good either. She came across as pompous, insensitive and incredibly insecure, with so many issues she couldn’t quite deal with even by the end. She has this tendency to self-pity and judge other people, but then again… aren’t we all a bit guilty of that?
          
          And Joe? Well. The author didn’t really dive as deeply into him as I would’ve liked, but the man is a complete arsehole. I won’t even deny it.  I genuinely found myself cursing at my screen, especially once he started getting famous.
          
          Yet somehow, despite all of that, I kept rooting for them. Again and again. Make it make sense.
          
          The writing can feel a bit much at times, but I think that’s also what makes Percy feel so real. It really gets inside her head, and I found myself hurting with her through every unfortunate event in her life — most of which, let’s be honest, she sort of allowed herself to get into.
          
          Overall, 3.5/5 ⭐️
          
          Also, I’m SO excited to see Cailee Spaeny as Percy and Drew Starkey as Joe because I already know I was picturing them in my head the entire time I was reading.  Like, the casting is actually spot on for me.
          
          And I’m ngl, I’m also so glad Odessa A’zion isn’t playing Zoe because… sorry, but my girl would’ve been butchered.  I need Zoe done RIGHT.
