Nov. 2: 542 words.

Hey, guys.  Long time, no see.  Well, good news to followers of Tug of War.  I haven't written in a long time because college is nucking futs, but I am doing NaNoWriMo.  I'm not signing the pledge for a full 50,000 words because I just don't have time for that, but I am aiming for 25,000 words, and so I am making progress on Tug of War.  I will keep you updated on my progress each day.
          
          Nov. 1: 13 words.  
          
          Off to a strong start, Erika.

Guys, I can't believe how bad some of this writing is.  WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME? 
          I'm trying to fix it!

Just a quick update:
          I've been MIA for the last few months due to some family issues, then I had my first semester of college!  And hell, is college busy.  
          Right now, I'm working on editing my past chapters, just to refresh my mind and fix my extremely inconsistent writing style.  Some parts are written in a very 'teenage-cliche-romcom' sort of way, and that just doesn't fit the style of the book or the main character.  
          In the future, I won't promise anything because I'm taking nine classes next semester in addition to work study (because obviously, I have a death wish), so time is going to be tight.  Also, I have some family stuff going down that is way more serious than before.  It's really hard being out of state at college and not with my family while of this is happening.  But it feels really good to be writing again, so I'll see what I can do.  
          You are all wonderful. (:

Wow, I've just finished what you have for Tug of War, and I'm blown away.  So surprised that you don't have as many votes as you deserve.  Keep up the good work, please!

Editing Clients: I apologize for the lack of editing that I've been doing, but last week and this week have been finals weeks, and we all know how those go!
          Finals are done tomorrow, and I have a long weekend - though,  part of that will be spent at performances and an acting competitions - so I should be able to get a good deal done.
