I just wanna explain how this started...
I used to write fanfiction (The vampire diaries fanfic, more specifically) and Trevor, Nicole and Dimitri were characters that I created into the TVD universe. They were vampires there, but not family. Although the had strong bonds with each other. And their stories got BIG. So one day a dear friend of mine (I will be forever grateful for your idea, Chinita!) challenged me to write a short story where all my characters are mortal humans. And I decided to take these 3 characters to a different universe. Chapter 1 was intended to be that short story. But I realized I suck at writing short stories, I just couldn't help myself and left it open with a small cliffhanger...
And that was it. Wih a BOOM I created more in my head.
And I had to let it out.
I just care too much about the characters and I wanna know what happens to them next. So that's how this story was born.
