Fiction, fantasy, folklore - Posting original short stories.
I'm a wordsmith of mischief and mystery, stirred and simmered in a whimsical cauldron of hope and magic. May these dark little stories of light and love spark up a bit of joy on those cold and wintry nights, or by blazing firelight with darkness surrounding.
Common side effects after reading these penned curiosities: night terrors, bittersweet tears, an instantaneous flush of inspiration and mad fearlessness.
Enjoy.

I've been a passionate writer since I discovered the thrill of penning to life scenes and stories when I first learned the power of words at a young age. Kept at it, reading and writing, from the sweeping country lands of California to the heart of my mother's homeland, the Philippines. Spent most of my teen years on the islands, falling in love with the enchanting folklore hidden deep in the rainforest and told by elders under shadow and lamplight.
Most of my short stories are influenced by Filipino folklore and magic, as well as my love for fantasy, science fiction and horror. My favorite author is Ray Bradbury, and I'm in love with anything whimsical, curious and fun (like chipped teapots, hidden doors, something dark flitting quickly by a full moon).
Currently adventuring through this chaotic trip called Life with my husband Micah, stepdaughter Layna and son Timmy - my absolute everythings.
