My name is Mai. I am a woman who believes in dreaming. Dreaming is one way of escaping reality when the latter is unbearable to live in. I dream to become a writer someday, and that day has come. As a little girl, I grew up listening to the stories of my Mom and my Grandma when they were little girls. I went to sleep listening to the bedtime stories they told. I am the youngest in the family; youngest to siblings of 7, to which I have a 6 year gap with my brother before me. 

Naturally, I played by myself, never had kids my age to play with that's why I imagined a lot. I was almost never let out of the house since my grandma was really strict. So dolls became my playmates. Indeed, I played alone, by myself, but I was never lonely. I have with me my big imagination and my penchant for dreaming. When I learned to write, I wrote it all down.  I love the smell of fresh paper. I love the sound of my pencil strokes. My penmanship was not spectacular but my imagination was. So I wrote. 

Now that I'm a woman, I write so my dreams can travel the world, my thoughts heard. I write so I can reach you and let you know that I am a dreamer. I dream of a place where there is only love and no prejudice. I never realized that that dream came true. When I learned of a place in a surreal universe, when I learned of Wattpad; Where all dreams are written, all dreams are heard. All dreams come true.

So to you dear "dreamers", welcome to my world that I lay to you open. I wish that you can have the same joy I feel whenever I write; that all my bare feelings reach you wherever you are.
