Msagomaikem, pronounced Mis-ago-may-kem and fondly known as Maimai, is a teenage writer from Capas, Tarlac, Philippines. Her love for storytelling began at a young age, inspired by the movies, cartoons, and Disney fairy tales she grew up watching. Fascinated by their characters and imaginative worlds, she eventually began creating stories of her own. What started as a childhood interest gradually became a genuine passion for writing.

Maimai began her writing journey in 2020, when she was only nine years old. Now fifteen and a graduating Grade 10 student, she balances writing with academics and her responsibilities as the eldest among her siblings. She works hard to complete her education and hopes to build a stable future and eventually become a breadwinner for her family.

Beyond writing, Maimai is a consistent academic achiever who frequently ranks among her school's top students. She takes pride in the certificates, medals, and recognitions she has earned through hard work and perseverance. In her free time, she enjoys collecting books and cute, feminine items, listening to music, singing, reading, and creating stories.

As a reader and writer, she particularly enjoys romantic comedy, mystery-thriller, historical fiction, and horror. For Maimai, writing is more than putting words on a page. It is a way to give her imagination a voice and bring ideas, emotions, and stories to life. What began with the stories she loved as a child has become a journey of her own, one she hopes to continue for many years.
