I was born in mid 90's nd dats 95.i didnt jst grow up,i was raised,and my mom stood beside me.i was taught to be strong,accept disappontment,a
          	nd work on my vices,i was taught 2 answer a foolish question wit a smile.norms were installed in me nd values wer my ways.i was disciplined by every body including maigadi,school nanny,and d almajiris in my area.wen i was a kid using my moms lips stick was a big crime because men are said to be strong and decisive bcos they re d bed rock of a good or bad family so u cnt be 2 attractive.wen speaking wit an elderly person u most lower ur gaze.i was kept away from friends nd me nd my siblings normally gossip abt our mom like: idan n girma tunda an barni na Saba da wasa da Mata anga da suwa Kuma xan dinga wasa.
          	islamic education was compulsory on any kid around.respecting elders was mandatory,keeping urself away from bad friends was obligatry and staying out of trouble was normal. Our mothers were always at home,humble nd sweet.our dads speaks softly 2 our mothers nd pple around.neighbours re regarded as family membrs nd d relationship goes generation 2 generation.no social media den bt zumunci was at its peak. Festive periods re so sweet dat u can feel it in d air.

          	nology hav taken away everything.a16 years girl can surprise u 2 death.iyayen mu n yanzu basu damu d duba details din rayuwar kannen mu ba.zumunci y tafi.and some among my generation re now hybrids.Allah yasa mu dace fidduniya wa'akhirah.
