Don't mind me. Just over here silently mourning the loss of this site. Honestly, I was kinda hesitant to say anything at all, but as I continue to post things on ao3 and tumblr, I mourn my early years here. Be it on this account or one in my old home fandom.
Was feeling a bit nostalgic, but this site has changed so much, in some ways, for the better. In many other ways, for the worst. Most of my favorite authors have seemed to have moved as well. Sometimes I just come across them elsewhere on the internet, sometimes they themselves say it. None of my "bookmarks" on this site update anymore and every passing day this place feels more like a wasteland. I'm just another nobody who once called this ghost town home. Pretty sure a good chunk of active users on here are now bots. Wish this place was still as beautiful as it was back in the day. Filled to the brim with sometimes great, sometimes mildly cringy works, where grammar felt like a suggestion and a lot of people got their start. It was never hard to find a good fic back then. Back before Coins and ads. When my silly little compilation of incorrect quotes was the funniest thing I'd ever written. When Spiral was a character who I didn't bother to completely flesh out, rather I just wrote and let her guide my metaphorical pen. Back when I though Wolftale was the pinnacle of my writing talent.

Sometimes I wish things never changed. I'm an adult now. Isn't that something? I graduated. Tried and failed to fix my mental health. Lived through a natural disaster right atop my hometown. I never stopped writing. I still have stories to tell. It's a shame that this place is no longer somewhere I want to write them.

I feel like this might be my big goodbye. After my inactivity and watching from the shadows. I think I might need to let go. I loved this place so much, and will cherish every word I wrote here. If things ever get better I might come back. But until then,
          	Goodbye.

Gonna be honest, I might near completely drop Wattpad for ao3. Every passing day it seems that the website itself is no longer geared to fanworks but rather just financial gain. It was good when I joined, but its just getting awful. I loved it here but it hurts to watch somewhere I frequented so much and got my start as a fanfic writer just devolve to nothing more than money.

I'm still over on ao3, as are a handful of my works, under the name TheWeirdestRoller. I'm gonna miss this place and everything I've done here, but it's not the best anymore. So, this may end up my final goodbye. Sorry to anyone who wants certain works to continue. If they're on ao3 as well, they're not abandoned, if you want me to continue something over there, just message me and I'll likely do so.

That being said, goodbye. I'll miss it here.

Heyo guys! I know I'm never active, but I do still stick around to hear all your comments! I do want to say something though. I've said this before, but in this fandom, I don't think it can be said too much. Everyone has their own headcanons and ships. And there is a multiverse where every single one of them is possible! There isn't a need to argue over ships or genders or heights. And if you have a problem with an author's characterization of a character, that's fine too! You can go and find a fic more to your liking!
Am I saying this because the gender of Chara/Frisk was been brought into my silly spoofy little meme book? Maybe. But this fandom already has enough discourse. Gonna leave it at that for now.

@the_protector_of_aus For the most part, it's alright. There is at least one AU that's on fire, but I'll have tone to deal with that later.

Me: *complains about my writer's block and writes a meme chapter in lieu of my actual project*

Me: *the following day, less than 24 hours after I post the meme chapter* *posts the next chapter of SoaH*

Is the writer's block completely over? I dunno. I hope so. But if chapter 7 gives me anywhere near the same amount of issues as chapter 6, I'm going to throw Moonlight and Apple in a blender.

With my continuing writer's block, I've decided to share some random facts about Sacrifices of a Hero and who's pulling the strings.
Firstly, it wasn't originally planned to be a human au. That idea kinda grew on me after the plot of the first book was more or less figured out.

Secondly, Error wasn't going to be a kid, nowhere near it, in fact. Phantom was going to be the city's original first hero and Shooting Star's mentor.

Geno works at Starbucks, he's the manager of the location Night works at.

The heroes of Snowdin regularly met up at a Starbucks just down the road from Outer and Sci's house because Outer was in charge of that particular location.

In the very first drafts of SoaH, Fresh was completely absent apart from Error's comment on having to pick him up the day he was kidnapped.

Chance, Memory, and Blank, my OCs who work as the DSCR, are only there to give me some more material to write in The Files. But, they gained a larger role, not relevant to the 1st main arc, in some stories.

There are three planed arcs for the series and several side stories that plug in some holes. The first has Sacrifices of a Hero, The Files, as well as the unpublished Stabbed in the Heart, At First Sight, and It's a Wedding. There are a few more side stories, but I really can't remember any of them.

Arc one focuses on the eighth anniversary of Operation: Midnight as well as the time before, leading up to, and the year after the operation.

Arc two focuses on a missing person who will remained unnamed for spoiler purposes. There is also a larger period of recovery time from the first arc. It takes place roughly a year after Sacrifices ends.

Arc three has something completely tragic that happens in a side story. That aside, it gives a closer look at Insanity's character and answers the question asked from the start, who's pulling the strings?

MultiverseSquid

Horror's original hero name, back before this was a human au, was Shattered Skull because I lacked creativity.

Killer's hero and villain name were the same up until a week before I published The Files. It was Target.

Insanity looks like someone got covered in thick slime. It's enough to tell that they are a person, but just enough to only make out a very basic shape. They're pretty much an oval shaped thingy that can move.

            I wrote Insanity's character first.

This entire thing started by me wondering what superpowers the Sanses would have. Then I wrote the files. The actual storyline was nonexistent.

Fresh works at Subway and if his brothers say "Eat Fresh" one more time, he is going to punch somebody.

Killer's canonical height is 4'9" and he's the smallest on the hero force.

Some characters that I say don't have powers have some basic enhancement ability to either strength or intelligence, but nobody knows because powers like that have become so common that nobody can tell the difference anymore unless it's enhanced by a ridiculous amount.

Blood Mark and Blood Spree have such similar names for two reasons, the non-spoiler is because I was lazy.

You know Night and Dream's spirit forms in Dreamtale? A certain entity that is neither of the twins has a somewhat similar form.

There are several little mini-comics I've drawn for different parts of arc one.

I also have drawings of most of the costumes. I'll probably share those later.
