also does archive of our own work for original stories as well? it’s mostly fan fiction so i’m worried that any original work wouldn’t reach a wide audience.

...At this point, I don't know what I'm going to do. DBC, another series, or nothing for now? I've never posted my writing publicly before, and the thought of it is absolutely terrifying. So I need time. A lot of time, probably.
          
           When I do publish anything here, it may not be Dreaming Blade Chronicles, or if it is, it may not be how I stated. I'm  so sorry if I got anyone's hopes up, but the thought of making my work public is really scary to me right now. I hope you understand, and support my decision. But, I promise I'll post something here sometime, hopefully soon (or as close to "soon" as I can be). But just not now. I don't want to pressure myself a bunch right now. I'm so sorry for the wait.
          
          But when I do publish, I promise it'll be great. I hope it'll be great, at least, whatever I do.

I have an actual idea now! I'll start writing soon, if things go right!
          For a teaser of sorts, I'll give some hints. The main inspiration is "what if Sword Art Online actually made sense as a game?" basically. It'll be a while until I publish it, but I have ideas!
          
          Basic plot so far: Two people, around 18-19-20 years old, are in a long distance relationship (either engaged or just dating for a long time. Probably engaged.) To combat not being able to see each other very often, they play many MMORPGs together. But one day, one of them suggests playing a very newly released VR MMO, and the other agrees. The two start the game, and end up in different spots on the map. But while playing, a strange announcement for an update comes out. 
          This normal game...has turned into a prison with no clear means of escaping this virtual world. Both of them have one goal: Find one another, and try their best to live.
          
          (Oh god, this is probably going to flop horribly...I'll still try. Please read it if you can, when I start it! The current titles I have thought of are "Sleeping Blade Saga" or "Dreaming Blade Chronicles". You can ask me any questions you like!)
