@Music1331 Typically I'll use an instant that happened to me, and incorporate that into my writing.  Or I'll read things that have happened to other people, and use that.

I just saw this for some reason, I'm so sorry!  And usually I use real life experiences, because I do tend to like to develop my own style. Then again, sometimes I'll use something I've seen from a TV show, but do my own take on it

Oh okay. When you say things that have happened to other ppl, do you mean you read other books? Bc I like doing that, but sometimes I'm afraid I'll adopt that author's writing style. Like when you watch a tv show and you start acting like a character.

How do you guys gain inspiration for your writing? Like do you go out to coffee shops and watch people interact or go out with friends for a day or just sit with yourself in your backyard and write for hours?? I'm just curious to know what other people's writing processes are, I guess.
