@Music_Escapee I'd write one but I'd be worried about offending someone since I'm white. I have a fic in my drafts of Merle Dixon and a love interest whose a person of color. Also have a Rick fic too with a person of color. And I have a Merle/T-Dog fic as well in my drafts. I find it easier to ship characters that already exist that are people of color than to create an OC that's not white since I've never lived a nonwhite experience and I'd be afraid of writing it wrong. Though Ive been working on doing research on the cr*p folks different than me go through so I can write the story properly of course, just haven't gotten far with those stories in order to post them. I also have so many projects posted that need updates so I haven't been working as much on my side projects as much since I've already got over 50 fics in progress. Maybe you could write a fic of your own? Or we could collab? Would you want the OC to be a cis guy, cis chick, or a trans guy or a trans chick or a nonbinary person?
