Hello all! I'm planning to do updates on Their Feathers Stained Crimson every other Saturday at this point. I think it'll be more sustainable for me to keep up with over the next two months. Hopefully we'll be able to pick up during the new year to finally finish it.
Also, the final chapter of A Ghost of a Secret will be published this coming Sunday. I hope you enjoyed this short story!

@TheVeloriae It is a pretty complex set up! It becomes a lot more intuitive after you've been in the club, and there's a first time trial for new members to get a sense of how the club works. Essentially, the assignment runs for one month. During that month, the required minimum reading is 2 book of the month chapters plus an additional four chapters from any club member of your choosing. Partnerships can be formed with other members in the club to guarantee they will read for you. A minimum of two chapters must be read every month of your partnership, though you can read more if you and your partner would like. Partnerships can count as your four chapters of required club reading. All your partnerships must be complete by the end of the month. The only time points become relevant is when you are trying to become a Galaxy book club member or Book of the month. Every club member type (Dreamer, Partner, Birthday, Star, Galaxy, etc.) has a different point value assigned. It is listed in the club chapter for easy reference. If you read 40+ chapters OR 200 points during a one month assignment, you can become Galaxy and have an opportunity to be book of the month (chosen randomly out of all the Galaxy members). If you don't care about being Galaxy/ Botm, you don't have to worry about points. :) Hope this helps! And like I said, it will probably become more clear once you join the first time trial

Community voting will be opening on September 22 and ends September 28. If you've enjoyed reading Madelyn's story, I'd love it if you choose to vote for Dead Man's Match. But honestly, I'm so excited just to shortlist. This story holds a very special place in my heart for several reasons, and I hope it can bring more mental health awareness into the writing world :)
