Hey sorry for posting this but here is my new story
After losing her kingdom, Princess Arundhati finds shelter in Indragarh with Prince Pratig-her calm, duty-bound childhood friend. But when circumstances force them into a marriage neither planned, what begins as responsibility slowly turns into something far deeper.
A story of healing, quiet intimacy, and love that arrives long after the vows.

i hope you will enjoy my story

I want to share something with you all.
While writing Chapter 34, "Kahe Sataye Re Piya", for my STCK readers (and the upcoming chapter for my Wattpad readers), something happened that I still can't fully explain.
It was the middle of the night. I was writing with random songs playing on Spotify in the background. Then, right when I reached the part where I was describing Rivanya's shringar, a song dedicated to Chhathi Maiya suddenly started playing.
Let me clarify something I am not from Bihar, my state doesn't celebrate Chhath Puja, and I had never even listened to that song before.
Yet, somehow, at that exact moment, it played.
The atmosphere changed instantly. The scene I was writing felt so pure, so divine, and so deeply connected to something beyond words that I simply sat there in silence for a few moments.Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Or maybe some moments are meant to be felt rather than explained.
All I know is that while writing Rivanya's shringar, that song made the entire experience feel incredibly sacred and magical. ✨❤️
Some memories from the writing process stay with an author forever, and this will always be one of mine.

Helloww! I read what you posted on the mb and I agree, lack of engagement is truly disencouraging, especially when you put lots of efforts into your work. (And we can see the efforts you put in author ji. Rudravanya is such a great work! ^^) So I wanted to suggest something. I noticed that the number of votes on the recent chapters was more than the comments, that tells me that people do read and interact with your work but some might be too shy to actively engage in the conversation. Honestly, I was a silent reader too before I gained the confidence. So I wonder if it'll help if you leave something like "silent readers leave a *insert your favourite emoji*" right below where you put your targets? I've seen lots of authors employ that method. Is that something that you might be open to?
Taeboxie
@Musical_lemonade no no I really understand. When you put your heart and soul into something, it is but obvious that you'll want some reassurance and interaction. Since I'm someone who has been on both sides of this situation, I felt like I should help out since the readers must be shy, yes, but also because you might be feeling bad also. I'm happy you liked the idea ^^♡

@Taeboxie Thank you so much for this suggestion and for taking the time to explain it so thoughtfully. ❤️ I never looked at it from that perspective. You're right many readers may genuinely love the story but feel too shy or nervous to comment. I actually love the idea of asking silent readers to drop an emoji. It feels much less intimidating than writing a full comment and would still let me know they're here. ✨ And thank you for your kind words about Rudravanya. Sometimes discouragement gets the better of me, but messages like yours remind me why I started writing in the first place. I'll definitely consider trying this method. ✨

"This is the last time I'm saying this. Start commenting and engaging with the chapters. If the support doesn't improve, I will seriously consider posting only for my stock readers or moving the story elsewhere. I put too much time and effort into this story to keep receiving such little engagement."

I rarely say things like this, but today I genuinely feel disappointed.
Many of you keep asking when the next chapter will be posted, why updates are taking time, and why I'm not as active as before. But have you ever wondered how it feels from an author's side?
Writing a chapter isn't a five-minute task. It takes hours of planning, writing, editing, rereading, and pouring emotions into every single scene. Every chapter of Rudravanya carries a piece of my heart.
What hurts the most is seeing so many people read the story but so few actually support it. A vote, a comment, or even a simple reaction takes only a few seconds, yet it means everything to an author.
You all say you love Rudravanya, and I truly appreciate that. But love for a story should also reflect through support. When chapters don't get enough engagement, it becomes difficult to stay motivated, no matter how much I love writing.
My stck readers have always been the most loyal because they don't just read they support, vote, comment, and encourage me to keep going.
At the end of the day, authors are humans too. We have feelings, insecurities, and moments when we wonder if our hard work is even being appreciated.
If you genuinely want regular updates, please support the story on Wattpad. Your votes and comments aren't just numbers they're the reason authors continue writing.
