Man, life has been a doozy lately. Hope to get some more writing done later.
Updates:
Chapter 14 of Divinity is complete and being proofread.
Chapter 33 of together has about 4,000~ words already. A lot slower than I was expecting but hey at least I'm working on it right? ;-;
I was just wondering, has Quintessential Pokémania been abandoned/dropped?
@Skycoaster100 negative. It's just on a very long hiatus x_x but I refuse to pull the plug on it! May take some time but I WILL get back to it! ...at some point lol
Giving a small update:
Still working on the next chapter of Together. But it's a slow burn. I didn't realize how burnt out on the story I actually was. I was trying to put as much energy into it as I am currently doing with Divinity but it was causing me to burn out again so what I'm doing now is actually writing both stories at the same time. Divinity is where more of my passion is currently so it's getting more attention. Keeping my writing with Divinity is stopping me from burning out on writing entirely so it was kind of necessary.
I'd say for every thousand words I write for divinity, together maybe gets about 200ish. I try to do both stories one after the other but it's just been a lot of work to balance both. Mainly because I really got back into high school DXD again and TQQ is just kind of a thing I've kind of Lost a bit of passion for. I'm sure that'll change when the new TQQ anime series airs but I feel like the sky's the limit with how expensive the world building is with DXD, no pun intended.
But that doesn't mean I'm ignoring it. divinity may still be getting most of the attention but Together's new chapter is coming along nicely too. I feel like I left the previous chapter on a good enough clip hanger where I could just use it as a quick stepping off point. So it's made it that much easier to flow into the next chapter.
That being said...
The next chapter will most likely be another Divinity chapter because I'm making a lot more progress on that than I'm on together (The new chapter of Divinity is already at 22K words while the new chapter of Together hasn't yet broken 10K). But together's chapter IS coming along. Just not at a quick pace. Can't really say when it's going to be out. And I'm not going to write tomorrow Because tomorrow is the 4th of July here in America. But I hope to have it out here in the near future.
Any update on together
@Gojo_Najdoski writing it little by little. I'm actually kind of doing both stories at the same time. Like I'm writing together, but the motivation to dedicate full time to it isn't there. That's why I'm also writing divinity at the same time because since I'm already writing the story, I can simply switch over and write together as well.
Issei's first dub VA was perfect. The second dub VA just didn't fit imo x_x. It's like his balls suddenly dropped after season 2.
Meanwhile Akeno's dub VA switch was nowhere near as noticeable imo. Wild to think that she shares a dub VA with Yotsuba.
@Mutha_Pugga Oh for sure. Jessie has some really amazing work in dubbing alongside some misses like all actors. I love the sub actors for DxD as well, it's always really cute to know that Issei and Koneko are married IRL.
@L_gend Yeah I remember digging and finding out about Freeman. To say I was shocked was an understatement. Like bro, a million other things you could have done. Like tax evasion. But come on, CP? I do think Jessie did a great job as Fuutarou in the TQQ dub though.
@Mutha_Pugga Wouldn't be surprising, he is a teen after all canonically. I like both and can distinguish the actor from their art, but the original guy (Scott Freeman) getting arrested for CP and being registered as a SO 8 years ago leaves a sour stain on his role. Josh Grelle, now Jessie, did a good job for seasons 3 & 4. When I re-watched the show I didn't even clock the actor change until midway through.
Fixed a big typo on chapter 5 of Divinity that was bugging the hell out of me xD all good now
Pls When will you update the story about the quintuplets? I really like that story.
@A4sterva working on it now! I had to re-read it first because it's been so long since I updated it that I forgot what happened lol. Back to writing it again!
And with chapter 13, Divinity has passed an entire days worth of read time x_x

Holy hell, I did NOT mean for chapter 13 of Divinity to be this long but I guess that's how things go. Man I'm bad at making short chapters xD
Anyway, it's done. I just need to go back through and revise it, add pictures to it. And I can hopefully get it posted in the next couple days. But for now, my entire focus is playing the final Destiny 2 update T_T
