Mattias von Schantz is an amateur author who has written short stories within the Lords of the Stars universe for over 30 years. He is a computer scientist with an academic background in artificial intelligence and cognitive psychology. By day, he works as a software engineer, writing computer programs for a living. He is a father of three girls.

Also, he's Swedish, but does his best to write in English because there simply aren't enough people in the world who can read his native language.
