I have an idea for if that’s helpful, introduce angels and half-angels, I’m thinking a conflict between them (ps, half- angel-half-demon character would be awesome)
          (pps, the angels don’t have to be all like: we here to spread hope and kindness cuz if half/demons can be good then angels can be evil too)
