TEA (Warning, This topic is quite sensitive)
So me and my friend got into a pretty bad fight. She was drawing different anime and game characters. The name of the game is called Genshin impact. The thing is, She drew them all with black skin. (I’m not racist!) but she literally ERASED the representation. I said that she is black washing them and she said that isn’t a thing so I told her, So white washing is a thing and black washing isn’t?
She said that whitewashing has been around for decades and black washing will never be a thing and that’s it’s used for racist “white” people like myself who hate representation. Now in my bio, you can see that I’m NOT “white”! I told her that I’m not “white” and she said that it’s the same exact thing and that I’m a racist beach and told me not to talk to her until i respect other’s cultures, despite the fact SHE’S the one erasing cultures! Am I in the wrong?
