"Segui il tuo corso et lascia dir les genti"
(Follow your road and let the people say)
-Dante, The Divine Comedy

Thank you for visiting my profile! A simple list about me, since you are here AND you have clearly taken the time to read the 'about me' section.

1. There are those that do not believe in wearing yellow to a rodeo, turning a horseshoe upside-down, or falling off your horse before a big battle. These are all completely valid beliefs, and perhaps they will protect you from ill-fated luck. There is one thing that is the ultimate symbol of bad luck, one thing that can doom your entire day... matching socks. I refuse to put myself in such a horrible situation, hence my aversion to any sort of matching sock.

2. If I had to choose between having my head be the size of a watermelon or the size of a soft ball, I would choose watermelon... A small watermelon that was shaped exactly as my head is shaped now.

3. One of my favorite words in the English language is fickle.

3. Epicurus describes the entirety of life in one sentence, and he reminds us that even in the end, it is okay. "Non fui, fui, non sum, non curo." When I am overwhelmed, I find myself repeating 'Non Curo' to myself, even though I know I care far too deeply.

As for my book(s), I love fantasy and a dash of romance. I have always had a weakness for tall dark and handsome, and this shows.

This will be the most stereotypical thing I have quoted thus far (I love quotes), but it is fitting to end with The Poets favorite poet, "Audentes Fortuna iuvat"

Alas, it has been a while, years in fact. I don't know that 'back' is the correct terminology... but take this 'backness' or retuning how you will. Gee, I sound bleak. I am not, I assure you. BUT...
