Author's note
The Obscure Affair is inspired from a real story. The story of a lady who was really very upset with her life. Her life was very unkind for her. But who was responsible for that unkindness? Time? Life? People who were unkind? The answer is none of them. It was she. Her own decisions were the reasons she suffered.

She knew every part of her decision is not good. It didn't feel right then, it didn't have the required elements of maturity and intelligence, yet she took those steps. Why? Because of fear. What people will say, and what she will do then?

Just because she didn't chose the uncertainty, life made her choose the shadow. A period of darkness.

The Obscure Affair is an imagination, based on what had happened. It inspires the objective that if there's uncertainty now, choose it. Don't choose the certainty despite it being wrong. Life is just life, it goes anyway. When you choose yourself, life believes in you, but when you deny yourself, life still gives you chances, again and again.

I personally believe in second chances. Second chance, not to a certain person, not to society, but for ourselves. Give yourself the liberty to live, and choose yourself. That's not selfish, that's life.
