Happy New Year! It's 2024!
This year I will reach a massive milestone. It's officially going to be ten years since I first published a fanfic story online and eleven years since I first got into writing and started to create little stories in my spare time. I did some quick calculations across all the platforms - as best as I could - and within these ten years I've had around 670k reads/views, 19.5k votes/kudos, 7.8k comments/reviews and I have written just over 600k words.
You guys are the reason why I have continued to write. I probably would have given up long ago. To read the reactions to the scenes I knew would cause a stir, to be told I made someone laugh or cry, to be told they hated a character I made. That's what made me keep writing at first. But what I never imagined was to be told I am someone's favourite author, or that my story is someone's favourite fanfic ever, or that my writing is so beautiful and emotive... I never imagined that as an insecure 14 year old nervously taking a breath and pressing that publish button to the most cringiest story ever. So thank you for encouraging me and making me stay.
My writing goals for 2024 is to be more interactive, get both 'Hidden' and 'The Assassin' over 200k reads each across all platforms, update more often, release some drafts, and reach an overall word count goal of 700k words.
So thank you for ten wonderful years! May we have ten more together!
