It has been ten years since the start of the era of Control soccer by an organization named Fith Sector. To maintain order throughout the whole of Japan's Jr. High Sports Ossification. They started to recruit talented and potential candidates for unlocking an unknown gene called the SSC (second-stage children) and naming them as seeds of the organizations.
Matsukaze Tenma and his twin brother were a boy who was said to bring accidents wherever they went. During their 3rd birthday, while helping a small puppy, they saw it was about to get hurt by some wooden planks. They accidentally trip while running, risking themselves because the boards nearly crash on them. At that moment, a mysterious figure kicked a sphere toward the board away that was about to hit the small child, leaving the said sphere behind. Later they found out that the sphere was a football.
This led them to find out more about who the mysterious figure was, and they dedicated their life to this sport and to find a way to thank the figure for saving their life. At the age of 9, while he and his twin brother were returning from their tryout for their country's national team, they got into an accident that only he and his cousin survived. Will both players be the wind and lighting that could change the heart of the member of the new raimon team? Or will they fall from the pressure of their responsibilities and crumble?
