It's certainly been a long time, hasn't it? I haven't touched this account for... well I'm not sure how long it's even been, but a long enough time to come back to an unreadable amount of notifications anyways.
          	I just wanted to stop by and give some clarity to those people still commenting on my profile/stories even after 5+ years, to let them know that I didn't croak or something like that. I know you're all disappointed that the Undertale story never got finished, and I'm sorry, but it is the typical life of a fanfiction.
          	Looking back at the writing it was just... not good to say the least, way too rushed and quite difficult to read comfortably. It's a long overdue announcement, but "Pursuit of Happiness" is discontinued, I'd rather do a whole rewrite than continue it in it's current state.

@buttermanwithaplan Oh jeez, had no idea someone responded since I only check Wattpad once in a blue moon now, it wasn't my intention to ghost you for months.
          	  
          	  I actually was brainstorming for a potential rewrite a while back, but I've been very out of the loop with anything Undertale/Deltarune/Toby Fox related for years at this point. Unfortunately though, my job takes a lot of time away from me, and I don't really have much of that creative drive anymore.
          	  
          	  But still, it makes my day a little to see people come by and drop comments after such a long time, thanks for the comment and hope you're doing good.

@MysteryMax personally it holds up decently but yeah, i can see why you wouldn't want to continue it. a rewrite would be amazing though, but do not feel obligated to do so!

Hey hey, don't worry about a response, I know you're not online very often. take you're time. I was taking a look at your old stories for the sake of nostalgia. the writing is a little out of character but still brings back the feeling of warmth i remember. i hope you're doing well, try not to work yourself too hard. it was good to hear from you.
          thank you for the comment on my story, i cant really describe why it was so important to me, but just know it was.

hOi, I just want to say that I loved you Chasriel story, and its weird considering I don't see much Chasriel stuff on YouTube.
          Because of your story, it has inspired me to write my own.
          I hope you don't forget about your story, because it MUST be hard to juggle real life with this.

Hey. Don’t worry I’m still alive ahaha. Yea not a lot of stuff on there about it on YouTube, maybe just an unpopular ship. Well either way it’s good to hear that, imagination is gonna be your best tool for it. 
            
            If I were going to abandon the story I would come out and say it. I’m still interested but it’s just nowadays I don’t have much free time, and the free time I do get more often than not isn’t spent on here. Means new chapters are mad rare. No you’re not talking too much, don’t worry about it.

Hm, I've been looking back at my old chasriel story a bit. I've had somewhat of a second spark for the Undertale series, and it saddens me that I never truly got the time or same passion to finish it as I once had the years before... 
          
          I'm coming out and saying that I am interested in trying to resume this story, however I cannot promise the day that you will ever see the "Complete" status icon on one of my stories. I don't want to over-excite people with this news, I am still extremely slow about pushing anything out due to real life complications.
          
          Will I ever get close to completing it? I can't really see it happening anytime soon, time will have tell.

            I’d just like to expand my vocabulary and touch up on my punctuation and descriptions. That’s usually what I look at in stories.  UwU
            I’ve anosmia so I usually look for descriptions of smells since I can’t describe them
            
            (Btw I don’t intend to copy your works! I realized how I phrased it, it sounded like I was copying lol)

@Fandom_Lover_Amy_ Thank you for the kind words, I don’t write as often but still do enjoy it. I’m surprised someone would actually use my writing as a sort of template. You don’t necessarily have to copy other styles, I just did what I thought suited me best and built it up from there. And don’t be afraid to post stories and such, I am sure some people would be able to appreciate your concepts and ideas.
