Donating platelets at school today. Needles hurt btw
@_x-KIWI-x_ K It does not. I have both asthma and allergy medication that I take daily. Neither will effect your eligibility to donate blood, plasma, or platelets
@oxKIWIxo It is. It's a little painful, but it's a very good cause. Our school goes through LifeSouth. Platelets are what causes your blood to clot when you bleed. When you donate them, they take blood, take the platelets, and return the blood to your body. If you have the time to do it, I would highly recommend doing it

I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge the death of Cameron Boyce. He was a great actor, yeah, but that's not all I want to say. Cameron was a larger than life young man who understood that the people need help. One of my acting idols, Adam Sandler, has acknowledged this and if you have an instagram, I'd like to ask you to look at his post following the early passing of such a great person.
