I must confess. I read a great deal of dark angsty stuff throughout the years. I write M/M stories and grew up noticing that if there was a gay relationship on tv - or in a book, 99% it ended tragically, so I like to see characters win. Even if they go through some difficult things to get there. There is plenty of unhappiness irl, and for me- books are an escape. I like to immerse in stories that transport and entertain- a little ott. A bit ‘extra’… Somewhat larger than life. The truth is (sometimes ) stranger than fiction, so make it shimmer and slide then send a thousand ships to war.

I love a realistic ending. If a sad ending is what's needed for the story to flow and make sense, then I'm all for it. If a happy ending makes sense, I'm all for that too.

Yes, AI assists me in my books. I am a native Romanian speaker, so AI support in translating my texts into English is essential. There are literary expressions and formulations in Romanian that cannot be translated as such into English. Instead, the book with its characters, events, feelings and dramas is written entirely in my mind, without any external help, because my biggest skill is to create. I’m very hands-on with my writing. I use different tools during the process like any modern writer might but every scene, every emotional beat, and every twist is my own. I care deeply about voice, character, and how the story makes readers feel. That part can’t be faked or outsourced.

@NARomance I’d go with the blind date set up by a friend. If they know me well, they’ll pick someone with the right kind of spark, and there’s something fun (and a little crazy) about walking in with no clue who I’m about to meet. Way more romantic than swiping through endless profiles.
