Writing has always been my way of escaping. It takes me out of my own head and thoughts and into someone else's. I've been writing stories, poems , single lines of text, anything really, since I was just a kid. The older I got, the more serious I became about writing. In 2013 I began writing a YA dystopian novel. I finished the 1st draft within 6 months. I've been revising ever since. I can't seem to let it be finished. It's currently sitting on a shelf...we're on a break. My current WIP is a new adult contemporary romance that has already gotten some positive feedback on. I'm hoping this is a place that will give me the courage I need to put it all out there!
