My love of writing began 18 years ago at age six and has never stopped. I started writing short stories about monsters, fairy tales, and coming of age as I came of age myself. My love of reading has been a constant in my life. While in undergrad, my time spent reading for fun dwindled. After being out of college for over a year, I am really settling back into getting lost in the writings and worlds of others. 

I am a self published author of a prose poetry book titled "Aurora Borealis", currently available on Amazon. I wrote this book in 2017, and published it December of 2017. It's one of my proudest achievements and greatest accomplishments. I had dreams as a child for years and years of becoming a published author, and having it come true on my own terms was an absolutely surreal experience. 

I am currently working on completing my first novel manuscript. While I have come to truly love poetry and spend a lot of time learning more about the craft of prose; my heart will always belong to fiction. I love, more than ever, creating stories and characters that have richness and texture to them. Please join me on my journey as I delve further into the wonderful world of writing and authoring.
