“oh! well, uhm.. thank you, abby.” the compliment startled the mechanic, but she attempted to give a somewhat genuine smile in response to pair with her words. her head tilted as she followed her own gaze to look over at whatever abby had her eyes on. seeing the night guard asleep, she sighed softly. “..obsessed with a dream? hmph, how weird. at least he’s got a better sleep schedule than me, i guess.” she shrugged nonchalantly. “they /talk/ to you?” melody questioned incredulously, obviously not believing the child one bit. it sounded utterly crazy.

“..melody.” she nearly cringed to herself at the prospect of actually being nice to someone she first met, but this was a /child/. she didn’t exactly want to upset a child because she was mean first thing. “he couldn’t find anyone to watch you? hmph.. well, hopefully he finds someone fast. this place is creepy.. /what/ did you just say.” she instantly froze. “they’re you’re..” she nearly laughed at what the child was saying. “/friends/?”
