Over the span of a novel, I get to step outside of myself and the utter failure of a life that is my true existence. I get to become someone else. For that reason, and that reason alone, I am addicted. 

There are no boundaries to what I will read or write. I love all the words, all the genres--from children's fiction to true crime to biographies to web comics to essays and short stories to chic lit and erotica. It doesn't matter.
