Hey everyone, I’m back with another apology… and honestly, I don’t even know how to start this properly.

I do have many drafts ready — and a small spoiler: I’ve even written our couple’s confession scene already. But to reach that chapter, there are still some issues and plot holes I need to solve first (you’ll understand if you’ve read my last update patiently). Right now, I feel really stuck.

On top of that, I have a very important college project that directly affects my grades. It’s actually a 5-month project, but due to time constraints, we’re trying to finish it in just 2–3 months. The pressure is intense, and honestly… balancing that with fixing plot holes is making me go a little crazy. My brain just isn’t cooperating with ideas the way I want it to.
So what I’m trying to say is, for the upcoming months, I might need to take a short break, around 2–3 months, to focus on my project.
I’m really sorry to everyone who has been waiting for updates for so long. It would be easy for me to just publish what I’ve already written — it makes sense too. But from the bottom of my heart, for those who have supported me by reading and commenting, I don’t want to give you something rushed or half-hearted.

I truly love you guys so much.
You deserve better than random or forced updates.

So yeah… after my project is over, I’ll be back with new chapters — and maybe even a new story too. Who knows? Hehe.

If my brain suddenly decides to brainstorm something amazing in between, I’ll definitely update. So it’s not really a full break… just a slow phase.

Please forgive me, and thank you for always being so patient and supportive.

          Hey my sweethearts,

I hope all of you are doing well with your studies, work, and life—whatever category you fit into right now.

So… I hope you’re loving the slow burn I’ve been building so far. I know it might feel a little laggy at times, because honestly, Catherine and Elena have traveled through 86 chapters and still haven’t gotten their real share yet. But I always wanted a true slow burn. The kind where they burn before they unite. Where they yearn, understand, and finally realize they literally cannot exist without each other.

And yes, I wrote something I’ve been craving for.
          So let’s suffer together.

Now, to the point: updates from here might be a little… tiny-tiny slow.
First...life is life, yaa. I’ve got things to take care of in my real world.
Second, the drafts of my upcoming chapters just didn’t sit right with me. I’ve been mulling over them for quite a while now, and I don’t want to give you something that feels lame or rushed. I need time to think things through properly.

I know I’m not perfect. Maybe there are parts where I could’ve done better, but I also know there are parts where I truly gave it my all. So consider this a short break. And hey, I never once said . Sometimes there are just too many plot holes and too many ideas cooking at once and you need to sit with them before they burn you.

I’ll update whenever I get the time and don’t worry, it won’t be that long before the next chapter.

So please forgive this poor one, my dears.

Hey sweeties! ❤
First of all, I’m really sorry for the delay. My life’s been a bit crazy lately, and even Wattpad decided to act beefy with me for a while ✨ But don’t worry, it’s all fixed now!

I’ll be almost free around Christmas, so you can expect updates then. And if life magically gives me extra time before Christmas, I’ll definitely try to update earlier.

Also… with the little time I did get, I started polishing the initial chapters. I honestly felt they were a bit too bland and didn’t do justice to the story. So yes, I revamped them a bit — grammar fixes + some added scenes to make the plot stronger.
Don’t worry! The core plot hasn’t changed at all, just some improvements to make things more exciting (and worth your time ).

It’s totally up to you if you want to reread the updated chapters. But if it doesn’t hurt your heart, please read them again hehe…

Thank you for being patient and sticking with me. You’re the best! ✨
          Love you all!

Just read Cold Hands Burning Heart and the ballroom scene where Catherine almost kissed Elena but Aurora stepped in really struck me. The tension felt so raw and fragile in that moment. Did you plan the interruption to show how their emotions keep getting overshadowed by chaos?

@N_Elara Btw I would like to more discussions about your story if you want more discussion here is my email hanasierrahana@gmail.com

@N_Elara Wow I love how you explained the role of chaos it really makes Catherine and Elena’s struggle feel even deeper. The way you described longing and fear being dragged out hit me hard. Do you already have a certain breaking point planned where they’ll finally stop running from their feelings?

Hey sweeties!
Guess what? It’s been five whole days since the last chapter dropped—miss me?
Classes started, so I’ve been juggling textbooks, coffee, and questionable life choices... but here I am, back with another chapter for you!

Now, before you grab your pitchforks—don’t worry. I will keep updating! Not every single day (because, you know… sleep), but weekends are our new bestie hangout time. ✨

Also… drumroll please I have an 8-day vacation coming up soon, and ohhh bestie, I’m going to spoil you rotten with updates during that time. Hehehe

You’re gonna be FED. Chapters on chapters. Plot twists. Drama. Maybe even an emotional breakdown or two (yours or mine, we’ll see).

So until then, survive on these weekend chapters like the strong little book gremlins you are.
          Love ya, mean it.

Hey sweethearts!
I hope you're enjoying the story so far.
I had planned to post two chapters yesterday, just like always, but I’m not quite happy with how the edits turned out. And I don’t want to publish something that doesn’t feel right in my heart.

I promise I’m not leaving you hanging — your author could never betray you!
The update will be coming your way today itself, and to make up for this little delay, I’ll surprise you with an extra chapter!

Thanks for being patient and for being here. You’re the best.
