i know you have no reason to trust a stranger's post but i'm asking you to read the first chapter of GODS DON'T BEG
          
          it's a divine grovel romance about a goddess who promised to heal a dying woman and let her die instead, the woman's son who escaped the realm she kept him in and wants nothing back from her, and the month she has to spend powerless in his house trying to become someone worth forgiving
          he offers her tea like she's a difficult guest. she has no idea the chipped mug is a verdict
          
          it's funny until it isn't. the prose is the thing i'm proudest of. it shows you everything and tells you almost nothing, and it trusts you to feel the rest
          
          just the first chapter. if it's not for you, you'll know by the end of it, and i won't say another word

@ Jolihibiscus  Hello ! Je suis une avide commentatrice, contente que mes réactions t'aient plu 
            Je lis plus en anglais qu'en français d'ailleurs, il y a une poignée d'histoires et d'auteurs que je lis en français. 
            
            Ce n'était pas du tout naturel pour moi de lire entièrement en anglais au début. J'avais un dictionnaire que j'utilisais toutes les 2 lignes. Si tu veux commencer avec une histoire sympa avec une héroïne forte, de la romance et de l'humour en plus d'être facile à lire (que des qualités dans ce livre !!!). Je te conseille la série "Storm&Silence" de Rob pour ça
