Charlotte is a normal girl that's seen 12 horrible things in a year. This book contains 12 medium sized chapters, in diary form. Mostly from charlottes point of view.
So when something bad is about to happen Charlotte goes in to shut down mode, she faints and does different things. As the months go on her power gets stronger to the point where she actually saves a person. Then she gets a visit for the the king of the -------, turns out she's not even a full blood human.
