I'm the author of ZERO POINT, a political science fiction thriller inspired by true events. I'm a 15 year investigative journalist, formerly of The Guardian, now attached to VICE where I report on the interface between global crises and new tech for VICE's science magazine Motherboard; and also affiliated to Middle East Eye where I cover regional geopolitics. I write fiction to inspire, inform, enthral and entertain, while exploring the biggest issues facing humanity. 

So I bring something unique to my stories you won't find anywhere else: a wealth of experience investigating and exposing covert operations, intelligence machinations and government/corporate corruption around the world, based significantly on exclusive insider sources; as well as cutting-edge knowledge of what's happening in the areas of science and technology. My stories are therefore fantastical - pure speculative fiction - but they're also grounded in the plausible, the murky reality of power in today's world. 

I'm using Watt Pad as my official clearing house for my creative writing: I'm serialising  my novel ZERO POINT here for free, which is the first of The Unravelling Trilogy, while I work on the next books in the series; I'll be putting out ideas and experimenting to create new short stories and new book projects; and I'll be releasing my poetry.
