@eater789 hey there! I’m sorry, I just logged on and saw your comment. I’ve been gone for quite some time. Lots of hectic stuff going on in my life since the Covid mess began. I actually took the stories down myself. I was feeling terrible about having unfinished stories up for such an excruciating length of time.

@NamelessOne Harry Potter soundtacks are superb! Thanks for the Juicy Tip, haven't yet try that actually.

@donnabillecuz I do find that putting on headphones and listening to movie soundtracks (Harry Potter, anyone?) does help me though. There’s something about the epic music that really puts me in that mood pretty quickly. You should try it (if you don’t ready).

Looks like I lost my bot followers too. No more weird usernames clogging up the works. Though I mentioned them boosting my numbers, it’s good to see them go, nevertheless. 

@mydnyteraven I absolutely love the testing ground that fanfiction provides. I've learned SO much in just the short time I've been playing around on here. I can't say my craft is any good yet, but honestly, it's much closer today than it was before I spent some time in this fantastic little world.

If the book deal with the traditional publisher would pay me lots, and give me movie deals, and If they required me to delete my online works, I might do it. But if it weren’t required, and I still got all that other stuff, I’d still keep my online stuff too. A lot of my works aren’t really novel ready, and online is a good testing ground 

@mydnyteraven looks like Wattpad finally cleaned house. My followers dropped by the number of bot accounts I had and they’re all gone. Did you get cleaned out too?

I’ve got a number of them, and they don’t seem to do anything, so I just leave them. They boost my numbers and I didn’t even ask them to, so... leave it and ignore it, I think?

@Out0fMyHead I know exactly what you’re saying! I have a family as well and will always choose them over my career (and have multiple times), but isn’t it odd to know that we didn’t really understand this bond until we actually experienced it? You think you do, but you can’t possibly. And you’re right. Before them, I would have chosen the career. I can only thank God that I didn’t find my career until after I had my family. I may have been a very lonely person otherwise, because a lot of women in my industry choose not to have a family specifically because of the high demands of our careers. I had a successful woman in my industry who I had the pleasure to sit and hear speak a few years ago, but was a bit dismayed to hear her tell me she wouldn’t have been able to achieve her kind of success if she’d had a family. It made me extremely sad for her because I felt like she had no idea what she was missing out on. I’ve never felt more successful than when I take a look at my family and know that they are my legacy.
