Hi, nobody really follows me except for my friends, but I just wanted to say—in case anyone was actually wondering—I'm not going to continue that II crybaby au because 1. it's really out of character, 2. I don't even really listen to Melanie Martinez anymore, kinda cuz she's weird and kinda cuz her stuff just doesn't appear in the playlists I've been binging as of recent, and 3. I kind of just don't have any interest in bothering to tweak and fix it. But! I am rewriting Falling Daisies (which could very well get a new name) because I still have an interest in exploring the hotel life in II, and I like Balloon a lot. Though it'll probably be slow to update... in fact, I was thinking I should probably write it on my own time and not post chapter updates until I actually feel content with the whole piece, or I end up finding a point where I feel like I just can't continue writing for it anymore. Would anyone reading this prefer I wait a while, then post the full thing, or just take my time and post each chapter when I complete it instead of waiting to finish the full story? Either way, it'll be quite slow to update, definitely months apart, except for when I get bursts of excitement to write it or something. And on a side note, I just wanted to explain why I'm continuing one and killing off the other. When I was first writing the crybaby au, I was projecting a lot of my anger onto Fan, which ended up giving it a bad taste entirely (not to mention the theme being based on Melanie's K-12 album...). On the other hand, though, Balloon in Falling Daisies was, and will continue to be, a direct projection of my own issues in a healthier and more creative light, as the intention was a bittersweet hope for something to get better, anything. And to be honest, I really enjoy how that theme could have relatively anyone relate to him, even if their issues aren't exact. I only say this because I feel like the intention behind how I wrote him fits me then, and even still fits me now.

Sorry this is so long, I kinda bantered lol.
Side Note: The Falling Daisies "rewrite" doesn't differ hugely from where the beginning of the story is. Actually, it's almost the same as far as events taking place; the writing is just improved! + I have a nicer idea about where I want the story to go, even if I'm gonna have to think up a lot of cleverly placed filler....
TLDR: I'm not continuing or rewriting the Crybaby/K-12 II au, but I am rewriting the Falling Daisies II fic. The reasons are in the big text.
Regarding Falling Daisies, should I do slow chapter updates (months on end between chapters are likely), or should I take my time writing the whole thing as a complete story before posting the rewrite?
