          It is okay to talk to random people online but! Here are somethings I use to help me catch pedos 
          
          1. They use slang that kids these days don't use
          
          2. They almost instantly ask to meet up, if you tell them where you live and they say "omg me too! Let's meet up!" Don't. 
          
          3. If using snapchat and they send pictures through the chat and not the actual snap, leave! They most likely used a picture off the internet 
          
          4. They're sexual, yes I know this is an obvious red flag 
          
          Please be safe and if you see these signs LEAVE

          But if you're going out with friends
          
          Be aware of your surroundings! I know that sounds lame but it will safe your life! 
          
          If you don't feel comfortable doing something. Don't do it! If your friends call you a wussy or anything else LEAVE
