Guyssss...I have a life update!
I am 22 (almost 23 old this coming March) and I have never wanted to get engaged or something like that. As you all know I am preparing for CAT 2025 and I also wasn't interested in any guy currently. Wasn't even having a liking towards someone.
My mom has been very supportive for my career and everything, so she usually rejected Rishtas without even asking Me. Very great, I know!
Suddenly, a month ago she comes to me and requests to meet this guy, I was shocked because this was a first. I said I don't want to marry and she said the guy and his family are ready to wait for 2-3 years so I had no way to deny now. Fielding set thhi!!!!
He came to my house with one of his cousins, I didn't expect him to look good but he is handsome, like I literally smiled to myself when no one was looking. I served tea and snacks, NO EYE CONTACT. He was very friendly and extroverted unlike me. My parents were already sold, and when he talked to me privately, I actually liked him.
I know I didn't want someone but looking at him and hearing his views made me want to hold him, and well...I am kinda taken now hehehe...
Not engaged but committed and yes, believe me, some things happen for a reason. He is not totally perfect but atleast he is not disrespectful, he doesn't shy away from holding my hand publicly, or making sure I am still comfortable on the bike after every bump, or saying sorry as his feet unknowingly touch mine.
He might not be as perfect as the fictional boys but he is a good guy, a gentleman and that's all that matters.
The thing I love the most about him? He notices everything and still adores me.
So it's simple, he is not a Prince or a King but he is a true Man and I like him for that.
I Love you all and yes, I'll continue the books as soon as my exam ends.
