          BTW, have you ever heard of V.C. Andrews? She's an author, now her ghost writer, that has a few stories similar to Aliyah's book. You might enjoy them.

If you would like to read a story about an African American family who lives in the ghettos of Washington DC and learns of her "half-sister's" horrible blackmail, pick Rain. There's so many.
