also, people have written really good books here on wattpad about how to do it, so you should check those out for more in depth ideas. i found them very helpful

@RickNeale so you know I've only been here a couple weeks so I'm no expert, but i think the most important thing is adding value. comments that are helpful. idk if you saw my recent post about @vangohs but basically she's my role model. find stuff to read that you genuinely appreciate because those are the people who are most likely to appreciate your work in return because of it's likely similarity. and then vote on it and comment on it with something insightful and encouraging.
            
            in terms of what to put up, i would lead with your most evocative and catchy pieces. I've been updating daily so far but now my book has a decent number of parts, i might dial it back to a few times a week. maybe Wednesday, fri, sat, sun, in the evening for North America because that's when they're most likely to be online and find your book in the 'new' section.
