For those of you that read the lights out trilogy I have decided to get back into writing by writing a fluffy one shot to finish off the series. It’ll be posted with the rest of the related one shots if anyone is interested. I received a bunch of nice reviews on the trilogy on ao3 and it just kinda inspired me to write a little more .

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post. I have a lot going on but I’m hoping to be able to update again starting middle of May.
I’m not sure if anyone is still reading Gardens of Misery but it is being put on hiatus. I have a lot going on in my personal life and just don’t have time to write. I might have time this weekend (doubtful) but my husband is having treatments in April which will prevent any updates. I may start posting again some time in May, but I’m not sure.
I haven’t abandoned my ongoing story. A family member has been having some health issues so writing has been the last thing on my mind lately. It’s nothing life threatening but family always comes first.
My goal this year is to get on a more consistent updating schedule. I plan to try to update every Saturday. Every 5 weeks my husband has a Saturday off and since it is our one day off together those will be the exception. Obviously, there will be weeks I’m just too busy, but that is the overall plan. Once my current ongoing is done I plan to focus on revising/rewriting my old stories, so those will be easier to have regular updates on. If you’re interested in providing feedback as to which story you want me to revise first you can find the summaries/stories on my FFN account and comment on this. Revisions to my multi-chapter stories will be the main focus, but I may post some of the one shots as well.

@painfulforelsket I hope my writing doesn’t make it seem like I’m a teenager, though I did write the original versions of most when I was a teenager. Only reason I post on here is because I felt bad completely taking it down when I told the person that was posting my work here to take it down.
I keep forgetting you’re not a h0rny teenager like majority of the people here on Wattpad bro
I need to stop looking at writers forums on FFN. Someone asked if it’d be okay for them to copy and paste someone else’s story and post it to fix grammar and spelling issues without the authors permission. Doing anything to someone else’s work without permission is unacceptable, but some people were saying it’s fine. In what universe is that fine?
It wasn’t on one of my stories, but I just saw a comment that was extremely disrespectful to another writer. The sense of entitlement some people have is astounding. People write fan fiction for free, if you don’t like how long it takes to update or if they put a story on hold but don’t take it down, then just don’t read it.
Anyway, this week turned out a lot busier than I thought it would. I hope to get more writing done soon but it may be after Christmas.
@NaruSasuNarulover yeah, 100%. Forceful writing takes every bit of enjoyment out of it too.
@painfulforelsket pretty sure those types of people have never written anything and don’t understand it’s better to take a break from a story if you don’t have inspiration to write it. Forcing yourself to write when you don’t have inspiration will only result in poor writing. It’s so easy to filter for completed stories only.
People are truly disappointing sometimes in the comments… while I understand it’s frustrating, it’s not like Wattpad is their life. They have other things going on. Wish ppl understood that more
If anyone is struggling with something they’re trying to overcome and likes rock music I highly recommend checking out Beartooth’s most recent album “The Surface.” There’s some screaming but once you get past it he’s a great singer with a great message.
I have somewhat of a break at work starting next week so plan to have some updates posted during that time.
I’ve been sick for over a month now, almost 2. I seem to be getting better but it’s a busy weekend so doubtful to have any updates. I have a long weekend next weekend that will hopefully give me some time to write once all the thanksgiving activities are done.
