would you mind giving me a few pointers on creating a historical background page for my own novel A Love That Heals : William & Lea?
My novel takes place in ww2 Britain , & deals with topics such as disability , the Holocaust in Nazi-occupied Poland , & the Kindertransport rescue effort.

@ WriterGirl679805432 hii, for a historical backround page, you basically need to think about what's important for your story. Research historical facts that are important for your story line (e.g. Nazi leaders in Poland, how the country was ruled, how the country was split, how did the whole stuff around the Kindertransport work, etc.) As a German I can suggest you read through official german websites (you can probably let most of them be translated), the German government, as well as various ONG's published much to inform the people and so that part of our history won't be forgotten.
So basically research historical context and write it down, so you don’t have to put it all in the story line, but your readers still understand it.
