          7) I added way more horrifying memories and desires of David's to his inner monolgue. He revels in violence and is super proud of his involvement in tragic events. He loves feeling superior and recalling instances when he made others look dumb. 
          8) David unintentionally shows Chloe glimpses of his true demonic appearance during sex or highly emotional moments. Chloe isn't really disturbed by it and thinks of it as a touching opportunity to show him how accepting she is of him. She starts wondering what she's going to look like when her demonic transformation is complete. Will she herself grow claws and a tail? 
          9) I show a more vindictive side of David through his inner monologue when he talks about tempting a human who resembles Marie and wreaking all kinds of havoc in this humans life just for fun.
          10) Chloe wakes up in the hospital at the end, but is completely paralyzed and docs still believe she is in a coma. She's able to move her eyes once at first, but not afterwards. It is true that coma patients can open their eyes and it means nothing. Docs assume this is the case with Chloe and she spends an entire week in this condition, wondering if this is it and why Death hasn't come for her yet. She realizes she's been killing people in vain since she broke the contract with Death, but he hasn't come to collect her soul yet. When Death does come, he tells her that he could've kept her like this for the whole year she was with David and she should be grateful he didn't. This shows a more manipulative side of Death I didn't mention much until book 3.

          4) Once bonded to David, Chloe develops demonic aspects/powers. David still gains complete control over her and can feel everything she does, but now he also has his own sense of feeling and taste in addition to hers. Human food starts appealing to him and no longer tastes like sand. Neither Chloe or David have control over which abilities of theirs are shared with the other, but David clearly gets the better end of the deal. Chloe is sometimes able to inherently know information that was never shared with her simply because she's bonded to David, who tries to stifle this ability at all costs or just mock it to make Chloe feel inferior and dependant on him.
          5) The human guy named David whom Chloe picks up from the bar after running away from demon David turns out to be a serial killer who tries to date rape her and probably had plans to murder her. Demon David figures out what happened and saves Chloe once again. 
          6) When meeting with Lucifer, Chloe receives a breakdown of all the charges against David for saving her life. She's unsuccessfully tried to run away from David many times, but is struggling with the idea that he might not be such a bad guy and stops trying to run away from him.

Hello, everyone! God, it's been a long time since I made an announcement! 
          I am re-editing book 1 of "The Obscure Tales of Death's Life: Until Death Do Us Part". I am doing the edits in Microsoft Word, so I'll be posting the entire re-edited book to Wattpad in one shot. Since this book is about narcissistic, sociopathic/psychopathic abuse, I will be adding a list of red flags and actual research at the end. This is a topic very near and dear to me as I have personally been the victim of this type of abuse. 
          
          Main changes that have occurred:
          1) David can read the history of any location he sets foot on. Chloe's movements, however, seem to be erased from the earth. He still cannot track her the way he can others. David's inner monologue makes him sound like an old person who remembers when the grocery store used to be a bank, which used to be a farmer's field, which used to be the scene of a battle... Some aspects of history are true - certain serial killers who've actually lived. 
          2) David cannot actually "feel" anything in the living world. He relys on possessing a human or is just re-living the memory of feeling something...until he realizes that being around. Chloe gives him the ability to actual tangibly feel the living world. 
          3) I added at least 1 other demon to each human David comes across - the muggers in the alley, the cop. The cop's children have demons too. David comments on how disheartening it used to be to see back when he was an angel, but how's he's over it now and food is food. Every other demon is terrified of David and usually run when they see him because he is too powerful for any of them to take down unless there's a legion of them.
