I am officially done writing the first draft of Discordia. It's been three days now actually. When I was done writing the last chapter, I almost started to cry. It feels amazing to finally have done this. I will be posting the last five chapters this and next week. There are a few days I'm out of town and won't be able to. BUT what I really wanted to say is that when I was done writing, I quickly went over what every chapter is about. I do feel happy with how the draft turned out, but with that said, it's not yet the story I want to tell. The last few months I've been planning on what to change during my editing and rewriting. While Discordia will be the same at heart, there are a lot of improvements I want to make and I know with those I will turn Discordia into an amazing story. I'm about to head down town to sit at a café and plot for a few hours. I've already started planning the second book, and will also be planning the third one. I think I want a greater overview of it all.
These are the improvements I want to make: Flesh out some of the characters more. I don't think I've done Samuel and Flora justice for example. I want Thalia to take more action instead of being passive. She will need to in the next book, and it's not something out of the blue really. She's always been that way in my head. So in a way, I haven't done her justice either. I want to cut out some of the chapters that feel more like fillers. I want to improve the description of this magical place. And I also want to do a lot of other things I can't tell you about. You'll find out if you read all the books.
Anyway! Thank you all for helping me accomplish this. I know I couldn't have done it without wattpad.
