Quite literally almost cried in school today when I received my Chemistry and Maths result. High-key disappointed in myself because those are my favourite subjects.

I want to share something my mom always tells me when I don’t get the best grade: “If you put in the effort, you should be happy with your results, even if you didn’t achieve exactly what you hoped for.” What she means is that you’re responsible for the effort you put in, not the outcome. It’s okay to go through situations like this because how else would you learn for the future? Right now, all you need to do is reward yourself!
