A what if crossed my mind the other day. So Keigo has just turned six, and hes trying to get his mom help while theyre on the street. After he saves a group of people from a car accident he runs into a (very recently) pregnant Yuri Takami.
          
          Yuri helps him to the police station and quickly realizes that this is the kid of the guy theyre searching for, (and technically her unborn child's half brother) 
          
          They catch his father shortly thereafter. And when they come to see Keigos mother, shes left and given her parental rights to Yuri.
          
          Yuri, now saddled with taking care of a very traumatized six year old, and soon a newborn. Goes to the only person she knows that can handle children. Tsukauchi.
          
          Basically Yuri raises Keigo and Cyrika and its sweet and heartwarming.

Ive been trying to keep track of all the Chekovs guns in my books, because im scared I'll just forget to fire them.

          Kei and her mother
          
          Wth is Fallback
          
          Yuri and Kiriko
          
          Toga and Cyrika (paid off a little)

Blood Red isnt going to be focused on Kei's life as a child for long btw. This is mostly a precursor and to give context to later events. Also, i like writing Tadashi and Sumiko.

Getting accepted to Uni is way more underwhelming than I thought it would be :/
