Beautiful people, I got an invitation from the Wattpad PH team for one of the upcoming events at the Manila International Book Fair 2026. I can’t say much about what the event is yet, but let’s just say… I really wanted to go. But unfortunately, I had to turn it down because my final thesis defense is coming up, and right now, my academic life is literally fighting for its life (cry-laugh-cry). Sayang huhu. It would’ve been my first MIBF event. But I know there will always be another chance. Maybe next time, when things are a little less chaotic. For now, thesis defense muna. Then hopefully, MIBF next time.

hello, beautiful people. just wanna share that our whole city is mourning a fallen hero. just got the news... a firefighter died in the line of duty, which  wrecks me in a way i can't really put into words. i've always been such an emotional person when it comes to firefighters. i look up to them so deeply. and knowing that this happened so close to home hits differently.
          
          he had a wife. he had children. he had a family waiting for him to come home. and now, all i can do is hope that his family knows that so many people are grieving with them today. 
          
          SFO3, thank you for your service. thank you for putting your life on the line to save other people. rest easy, hero. snappiest salute!
          
          and honestly, with everything happening in the BFP right now, i can’t help but think about how heartbreaking the contrast is. it hurts on another level that while there are people allegedly asking for hundreds of thousands of pesos just to get someone a position, there are real firefighters out there giving something that money could never buy (their own lives). you can sell a position. you can put a price on a slot. but you can never put a price on what this firefighter gave today. that is the sacrifice of a true firefighter. and that is something no amount of money can ever buy.
