Hi, beautiful people. It’s been a while.
          
          First of all, I want to say sorry for being inactive these past months. Life has been overwhelming and I’ve been juggling so many things at once. I just passed by here today to remind everyone to please keep safe especially with the typhoon affecting so many areas right now. 
          
          Please be safe. This typhoon is extremely dangerous. Right now, we are under Signal No. 5. Me and my family are preparing to evacuate because our area is considered high risk. If you are also affected, please don’t hesitate to secure your things and leave early if needed. Your life and your family’s safety always come first. And this reminder is more important than any update from me.
          
          The Philippines deserves better. I may not be with you physically at the moment but please know that I’m doing what I can from where I am. I’ve been busy with my organization. I am fighting for people’s rights and joining anti-corruption rallies and that has taken a huge part of my time and energy.
          
          But I'm still here. And I haven’t forgotten any of you. Thank you for your support and for staying with me despite my unannounced hiatus.
          
          Mag-iingat kayo, mga mahal ko.

          first of all, i want to say i’m so sorry for going inactive without any notice. life and responsibilities caught up with me and i didn’t get the chance to properly update you.  however, i was so surprised and deeply moved to see that ZTYF has reached 18K reads without any promotions for the last months. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for staying, for reading, for believing in my story even when i couldn’t be around. 
          
          now for the bittersweet part... i’m very sorry to say that the next installment of the El Claridad Series will take a little more time. i only had three weeks of vacation (school again next monday :<<<) before another academic year begins. and i realized, i cannot rush this. you deserve a story that’s written with heart and mind, not something half-baked or forced.
          
          while i was on my short 3-week break, i didn’t spend all of it resting hehe i actually used some of that time to research and interview real people from the profession i will write about. i really want to make sure that our female lead’s work is portrayed as accurately and respectfully as possible. (here's a few clues as my lambing: let’s just say... oil will play a part and probably a province setting).
          
          i want to give this story justice and i want to give you the kind of storytelling that made you stay in the first place. so please bear with me a little longer. i’ll make sure to let you know the moment it’s finally on its way.
