I'm so happy! Three weeks without any letters at all from my little lady, and then six or seven arrive at once. You never know how much you take for granted the ability to talk to those who matter to you whenever you pick up a device until there's a world that's free of them. For those who don't know, @Lavender_Queen_ is off at boot camp becoming a fierce warrior queen in her own right and we're very proud of her. Members of our RP/Wattpad family who want to write actual letters of support to her over the next few months, just let us know. I love that girl to the moon and back. <3

I've been missing my little lady a lot the past few days. It's going to be a long three months without @Lavender_Queen_ . You never know how much space someone occupies in your life until suddenly, that space is empty. 
          
          At least I know it's marked "Reserved" and she'll be back. It's just not as easy as I thought it would be.

hi everyone. :) i am back now, though not at 100%. i am still struggling with the "shift" key in my typing rehab. 
          
          i wanted to thank everyone for all the messages and words of support. for those who don't know, i had a spinal injury and two broken ribs. it greatly affected my balance and ability to use my arms and hands based on the location of the injury. my friends and family have been unwavering and supportive through nine months of recovery.
          
          @Lavender_Queen_ did end up meeting someone else, falling in love, and deciding her heart wasn't with me. yes, i am hurt. no, i don't hate her. nine months is a long time to wait for someone.  i'll always treasure the two years we had together. she didn't go about it the right way but poly relationships are hard. it's not something that everyone can handle. i think that deep down she wants to be loved by someone who can love just her and i can't blame her for that. 
          
          asa and myself have been staying healthy and still largely quarantined. our little bundle of joy isn't so little anymore. she inherited my hair, asa's eyes, and is an untamed force of nature. she looks a lot like vanellope from wreck-it-ralph, which always makes us smile. i'm not back at work yet but starting to do some practice art pieces to get used to creating things again. 
          
          so, that's my update from the other side. looking forward to writing and roleplay and fun stuff with all you guys again.

          Upon hearing that @Lavender_Queen_ cheated on him and slept with some other guy who gave her an ultimatum to choose between him and Az, @NefariousNephilim said the following:

          I cried for 20 minutes. That was such a beautiful thing, I told him I would write that down, and he said "No, tell @JadedElegance to make it into a story. She could write something perfect."
          
          So. fucking. heartbreaking.

// ah, my old friend azariel. i'm sure you're one who hasn't missed me. all your ladies seem to have decided to forgive and forget. can you? i don't plan to return here, but we've known each other too long not to make amends. i hope you and asadora are happy. it's strange not having you in my life for so long. i don't expect to be friends again. i'd still love to hear from you.

2020 is a tough year for everyone, but it seems to have hit those I love hard. July 29th was a very bad day. My dear friend @JadedElegance lost her partner of many years, who was fighting a long battle with cancer. A half-day later, my beautiful wife @AdorablyAsadora got news her father had passed away in the hospital following surgery. Both were in their early 50's, which makes it really hit home how little time any of us is guaranteed on this Earth. My heart is breaking for these women, and for my mother-in-law, and my little girl, who is too little to ever remember her grandfather, who loved her dearly.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result, according to Einstein. Or, in my case, forgiving the same person for hurting me five times and expecting she'll stop trying to get together with my "friend" every time I get close to her. 
          
          It's like a bad twist in a romance novel. The nice guy makes the girl feel things she's never felt before--for the guy who hates her and wants to hurt her. 
          
          That story kind of sucks. I prefer happily ever afters.

Sorry I've been quiet the past day or two. Stuff and things left me a little tired out and not too full of words or imagination. 
          
          I'm okay. Nothing a weekend of sleep won't fix. xD

Sometimes rejection blindsides you and cuts so deep, you weren't prepared for how much it would hurt. 
          
          I think I'm done here. I can't put myself out there like that again. :(
