Hi, I'm Neicy Gardner ✨
I first discovered writing in high school. Back then, it became my escape - a way to release emotions I couldn't always say out loud. But as life got harder, I stopped. Depression made me put the pen down, and for a long time I thought I'd lost that part of myself forever.
Now I'm writing again, and it feels like coming home.
When I was younger, I didn't spend much time reading or writing. But as I grew, I learned to love it - to see how powerful words could be, how whole worlds could live between pages. That discovery changed everything.
I owe so much to my high school reading teacher. They gave me the courage to keep trying, to explore stories, and to believe in myself even when I couldn't. Without that moment, I don't think I'd be here sharing my work today.
Writing now means more to me than ever. My stories are pieces of who I am - my fears, my dreams, and my hope that readers like you will feel seen inside them.
So who am I? I'm a mother, a dreamer, and a storyteller finding her way back. I write because stories saved me once, and I hope mine can touch someone else the same way.
